doctorpreparingPuppies and kittens can be sterilized at 8 weeks of age. Kittens must be at least 2 lbs in weight. We welcome the sterilization of feral cats to decrease the number of homeless, ferals in the community. And, you pay less if they are in a humane trap.
The surgery price includes a microchip, rabies shot, and deworming for round, hook & whip worms.

The above prices include a microchip, rabies shot, and deworming. The deworming will also take care of ear mites. If your pet is already chipped or has already received a rabies shot the price does not change.    You will need to provide a copy of your pet’s rabies certificate (NOT a receipt) if he/she has already had the shot. We are required to verify rabies vaccinations in the animals we spay/neuter.


A non-refundable deposit must be prepaid in order to complete your registration.

We do spay/neuters most days each week.  Once you have registered you will be placed on a scheduling list.  We cannot give you a surgery date at the time of registration.

You will be notified by email of a date for surgery.   Usually your pet will be scheduled for surgery  one to three weeks after registration. If the list becomes too long we arrange an extra spay/neuter day to eliminate longer waits.

Registrations for all surgeries MUST be done on line. We cannot schedule your pet for surgery on the phone or in person. We cannot give you a surgery date at the time of registration, however usually your pet will be scheduled within 21 days..

If you cannot make it the day your pet is scheduled, simply notify us by email when you receive the notification and you will be scheduled for the next available date.

  • ADDITIONAL SURGERIES
    We offer a full range of surgeries.  We will remove tumors, dewclaws, hernias, repair cherry eye, clean teeth and other necessary surgeries. We can assist with some orthopedic work. If your pet needs other surgeries it is best to request pricing via email prior to registering, or have it examined and evaluated at one of our low cost clinics.

    WE WILL NOT: Dock tails, Crop ears, or Declaw.

    YOU CAN FEEL CONFIDENT that your pet is in good, caring skilled hands.

    We have a very competent staff, which includes veterinarians who specialize in spay/neuter surgeries. From December 1997, to April  2010 we have sucessfully completed over 23,000 spay/neuter surgeries.  

    All pets go home the same day. Pets do not need to return for suture removal, dissolvable suture is used.
